Design Tip: White Space

Writer: Angela BoumaAngela Bouma

White space in design is such an important and basic concept to keep in mind as you design anything for social media and downloads. Getting the concept of white space down will elevate your designs and make you appear like the professional you are!

For today's discussion, we're going to talk about the spacing around the edges of your designs. At a later date, we'll talk about the space between your text (called leading- sounds like bedding).

After watching the video, what questions do you have for me around the design you're currently working on? Leave a comment below.

This is so good, Angela! Any chance you could post a 'good example' vs not so good? I think I get it, but would love to see a graphic illustrating good use of white space.
